From a Desire to Innovate, to a Strong, Nationwide Team

Clarity was founded in 2015 by Mark Smith and Andrew Moore with a vision to change how healthcare consultancy was delivered.

Tired of the consultants stereotype of writing a report and leaving, they decided to create an organisation that could stick around to Make Change Happen.

2015

Mark Smith and Andrew Moore found Clarity Consulting Associates Ltd.

2016

Clarity starts to grow, supporting Clinical Commissioning Groups, helping to develop Sustainability and Transformation Plans

We appoint three Consultants and a Business Manager.

2017

Clarity wins a place on the Crown Commercial Services - Management Consultancy Framework.

Partnership with South Central and West Commissioning Support Unit.

We establish the NHS Programme Office for Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention.

2018

Paul Sly joins Clarity as Partner and recruitment of our core team continues, hiring staff at all levels.

2019

Clarity team and associates become Agile certified and Scrum masters.

2020

We invest in our internal Quality Management Approach and become ISO 9001 Certified.

Clarity joins the consultancy growth network

2021

Launch of the Clarity Graduate Programme with six graduates

Clarity joins the MCA

2022

A year for growth

Clarity develops our international offer and win our first overseas project.

Launch of Clarity's Corporate and Social Responsibility Scheme, Smile4Wessex is selected as our 'Charity of the Year'.

2023

Clarity becomes certified in Cyber Essentials Plus, reaches ‘Standards Exceeded’ with the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), and becomes the 21st organisation to achieve Chartered Management Consultancy accreditation.

Clarity won the Highly Commended award in the "New Consultancy of the Year" category at the MCA's annual ceremony.
