We are a remote team with members nationwide. We hold regular company-wide meetings online to ensure everyone has a chance to share what they are working on, challenges and lessons learned. This is a fantastic forum for colleagues to offer support, advice or just a word of encouragement.
We also hold monthly chit-chat meetings where work talk is strictly banned. This is a great chance to take a break from work and catch up with colleagues. Regular contact with line managers is encouraged and we operate a buddy system for new starters.
Quarterly away days, monthly breakfasts and collaborative working days are all valued events. The quarterly away days are company-wide and are hosted around the country. Monthly breakfasts and collaborative working days usually alternate between north and south and are optional. These are great events to break up your routine, catch up with colleagues or team up and focus on a project.
